One adult ticket, five prices. On October 1 the Tokyo Disneyland calendar shows 9,900 yen. On October 11 it shows 12,400 yen. On January 6 to 8, 2027, it shows 8,900 yen.

The short answer

  • Tokyo Disney ticket price hike 2026: a one-day adult ticket costs 8,900, 9,900, 10,900, 11,900 or 12,400 yen, depending on the date. That is what the official calendar shows from September 30, 2026 to January 2027.
  • October 9 is 10,900 yen and October 11 is 12,400 yen. Move your day by two days and you pay 1,500 yen more per adult.
  • The lowest price on the calendar is 8,900 yen, on January 6 to 8, 2027. The highest is 12,400 yen.

On or after October 10, 2026, the calendar shows 11,900 and 12,400 yen on the busiest days. That is when the price band changes, not a deadline to buy. Tickets for a date go on sale two months ahead at 14:00 on the same day of the month. The official FAQ says the calendar shows prices about four months ahead (as of September 30, 2026). The price you see under a date is the adult 1-Day Passport. The official FAQ, updated September 15, 2026, says the calendar shows prices about four months ahead.

Read the table in two steps. October 3 to 9 is 10,900 yen a day. Then October 10 is 11,900 yen and October 11 is 12,400 yen.

What to look for on a Disney day

Your ticket is the price of the gate. This section is what you get for it, as of September 30, 2026, from the official Tokyo Disney Resort pages.

Before you arrive

The Tokyo Disneyland page on September 30 showed 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. as the day's hours. The resort also says park admission may begin before the opening time without notice, so plan to be at the gate early. A ticket for a child aged 4 to 11 is a separate ticket type. Children aged 3 and under are free.

How much is there to do

Tokyo Disneyland listed 37 attractions that day, and Tokyo DisneySea listed 33. The Land is split into World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland. The Sea has Mediterranean Harbor, American Waterfront, Port Discovery, Lost River Delta, Fantasy Springs, Arabian Coast, Mermaid Lagoon and Mysterious Island.

The official attraction list has filters you can tap: "Single Riders," "No scary characters" and "OK on rainy days." If you are traveling with someone who dislikes dark rides, start there.

What the queue looked like on a 9,900-yen day

Wednesday, September 30 was a 9,900-yen day. In the late afternoon, between 16:00 and 17:00, the official wait times were:

Park Attraction Wait (min)
Sea Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey 160
Sea Soaring: Fantastic Flight 140
Sea Journey to the Center of the Earth 140
Sea Toy Story Mania! 80
Sea Raging Spirits 50
Land Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast 70
Land The Happy Ride with Baymax 50
Land Splash Mountain 40
Land Pooh's Hunny Hunt 40

That is one afternoon, so read it as a picture of a single day. It shows that a 9,900-yen day still comes with a 160-minute wait for Frozen Journey, which is two hours and forty minutes.

Standby Pass and Premier Access

The Standby Pass is free in the official app. Each park ticket can get a Standby Pass for one person, you go to the line at the return time it shows, and the pass cannot be handed to someone else. On September 30 the Standby Pass items were four shops: Disney & Co., Gag Factory / Toontown Five and Dime, Treasure Comet (a capsule-toy shop, from June 19, 2026) and Frontier Woodcraft.

Disney Premier Access is the paid one. You pay per experience, on top of the park ticket. The prices on September 30:

Experience Price (yen) Dates
Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast 2,500
The Happy Ride with Baymax 1,500
Splash Mountain 1,500
Big Thunder Mountain 1,500
The Villains' Halloween "Into the Frenzy" (show) 3,500 Sep 16 to Oct 31
Toys Wondrous Christmas! (parade) 3,500 Nov 11 to Dec 25
Disney Harmony in Color, Electrical Parade Dreamlights, Mickey's Magical Music World, D-Groovationz4 Live 2,500 each from Sep 30

Here is how it works. You log in to the app with your MyDisney account, link your park ticket, choose an experience and a time, and pay by credit, debit or prepaid card. At the entrance you show the QR code at your time. For a parade, you watch from a reserved spot, and the position number appears after you buy. If you do not have the app, the windows inside the park sell it too. Guests under 18 need a parent's consent. Sales are in limited numbers and can sell out, and changes, cancellations and refunds are not accepted after purchase.

Add it up for one adult on Sunday, October 11: the 12,400-yen ticket and a 2,500-yen Premier Access for Beauty and the Beast come to 14,900 yen.

Things that change with the season

Disney Halloween runs September 16 to October 31 at the Land. From October 1 through 15, the resort asks guests to refrain from wearing a costume. Haunted Mansion "Holiday Nightmare" runs September 15, 2026 to January 7, 2027.

Disney Christmas at the Land runs November 11 to December 25. Three shows run once a day each:

  • Toys Wondrous Christmas!, a parade of about 45 minutes, with teddy bears, toy cars and a nutcracker drum-and-bugle corps
  • Electrical Parade Dreamlights, the Christmas edition, about 45 minutes
  • Starbright Christmas, fireworks of about 5 minutes (depending on wind, the show may be canceled)

There is also a big tree at World Bazaar. Country Bear Theater's "Jingle Bell Jamboree" runs November 1, 2026 to January 16, 2027. Christmas menus start November 1 and limited goods on November 10.

What the parks describe as their own

At the Land, the resort's own attraction list includes "it's a small world," Pooh's Hunny Hunt, Big Thunder Mountain, Mickey's PhilharMagic and Star Tours. At the Sea, Fantasy Springs has four attractions (Frozen, Rapunzel, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell), and the park also has Raging Spirits, a roller coaster with a 360-degree loop, Tower of Terror and the Venetian Gondolas.

The app also has Disney Mobile Order, Priority Seating (a restaurant reservation that keeps waits short) and Book Show Restaurant. Each needs your ticket linked in the app.

The rides that stop

The resort says attractions are subject to closure or change without notice. On September 30, Tower of Terror and Indiana Jones Adventure at the Sea, and Swiss Family Treehouse at the Land, were closed all day. Caravan Carousel's upper level is closed from June 23 to October 26, 2026. The price on the calendar is the same whichever rides are running that day, so check the resort's attraction list when you arrive.

How much is a Disneyland ticket in Japan? One-day, After 3 and After 5 compared

The one-day ticket is the price on the calendar. Two evening tickets and a few others start lower. These are the lowest adult prices on the official ticket list, as of September 30, 2026.

Ticket Adult, lowest (yen) Junior, lowest (yen) Child, lowest (yen)
1-Day Passport 8,900 7,400 5,300
After 3 Passport (weekends and holidays) 7,900 6,600 4,400
After 5 Passport (weekdays) 6,000 5,200 3,800

Adults are 18 and over, juniors 12 to 17, children 4 to 11, and children 3 and under are free. The After 3 and After 5 prices apply from September 15, 2026. They are "from" prices, and the price on your date can be higher. The gap between the lowest 1-Day price and the After 5 price is 2,900 yen.

Best time to go: prices by month, October 2026 to January 2027

The price bands, month by month (as of September 30, 2026):

Month What the calendar shows
October 9,900 (Oct 1 and 2), 10,900 (Oct 3 to 9 and 12 to 16), 11,900 on Oct 10, 18 and 25, and 12,400 on Oct 11, 17, 24 and 31
November 9,900 (Nov 2 to 6), 12,400 on Nov 14, 21, 22 and 28, 11,900 on Nov 15 and 29, and 10,900 on the other weekdays
December 12,400 on Dec 5, 12, 19, 25 and 26, and 11,900 on Dec 24 and Dec 27 to Jan 3
January 9,900 (Jan 4 and 5), 8,900 (Jan 6 to 8), 10,900 on eight listed dates, and 9,900 on the other dates

Two dates stand out. In November, 9,900 yen runs from the 2nd to the 6th, and 12,400 yen returns on November 14. In December, the calendar shows 12,400 yen on the 25th and 26th, and 11,900 yen from December 27 to January 3.

The next look at this page is on October 31, 2026, when February 2027 dates come onto the calendar, and again on November 30, 2026. Dates beyond the calendar appear as the resort publishes them. For crowds by month across Japan, see When to Visit Japan by Month: Crowds and Hotel Occupancy.

How locals plan it: two dates, side by side

Pick the cheapest day you can, and compare two or three days that everyone in your group is free. The official calendar makes that easy, because it lists a one-day price under every date.

The resort's own rule for sales gives you a schedule. Tickets go on sale two months before the visit date, at 14:00 on the same day of the month (from the official Park Tickets page). A December 5 ticket goes on sale on October 5. Put that date in your phone, and you will see the price you plan around when it sells.

Date-swap calculator: what moving a day saves you

Choose the one-day price from the table for each date, and the number of adults. The tool shows the total for each date and, for comparison, the lowest price of an evening ticket.

Adult prices as of September 30, 2026. The evening line is the "from" price of the After 3 and After 5 Passports.

Three ways your dates could play out

Friday, October 9 or Sunday, October 11

For two adults, 10,900 yen each is 21,800 yen, and 12,400 yen each is 24,800 yen. The difference is 3,000 yen. The price band changes on October 10, so shifting your day by two days moves it by 1,500 yen per person.

Which day in December

December 24 is 11,900 yen, then December 25 and 26 are 12,400 yen. December 27 to January 3 is 11,900 yen again. For two adults, the 25th costs 1,000 yen more than the 24th, and the New Year week is 11,900 yen every day.

A weekday evening

The After 5 Passport starts at 6,000 yen for an adult, on weekdays. That is 2,900 yen below the lowest one-day price of 8,900 yen. The official ticket page lists the hours and what you can enter for each ticket.

How to buy Tokyo Disney tickets

Tickets are sold on the official Tokyo Disney Resort site, and the calendar there is where the price for your date appears. If you would rather look at tickets from a booking platform, check prices for Tokyo Disneyland ticket listings. What each listing includes and what it costs is on its own page.

If you use the app on the day, you need data. See Japan eSIM vs Pocket Wi-Fi: Cost Comparison. To reach Tokyo from the airport, see Narita Airport to Tokyo. To get around the city with a card, see Tokyo Subway Ticket vs Suica. For a ride by app, see Tokyo Taxi App vs Train.

Pick a date and the number under it changes: 9,900 yen at the start of October, 12,400 yen on October 11, 8,900 yen in the first week of 2027.
